This tool is your daily companion for recognizing stress before it takes over. The goal is not to be stress-free 100% of the time — that is not realistic in the modern world that we live in. The goal is to manage your stress, so it does not manage you. To do that, you must first be able to recognize when you are experiencing "bad" stress (distress) and intervene
before it becomes chronic stress. Use this tool daily to check in with your body and your mind. Check yes or no for each symptom, note when it began, and bring this completed tool to share with your healthcare team. You are your own best advocate — and awareness is the first step!
